Upper Mustang Trek is in the other hidden side of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himalayan Ranges. The major highlight of this trek is Lo-Manthang, capital of Mustang, until Nepal is declared a newest secular and republican country in 2008. The amazing fact of this trek is that unlike other mountains with white snow, mountains in this region are red in color at approx. 4,000 m in height. The landscape and culture of Upper Mustang is very different than that of other regions of Nepal or it is more similar to Tibetan culture and geographical setting.
